Date of issue: 06 May 2022
Date of effect: 06 May 2022
Attention:
- Registered dairy exporters, manufacturers, agents, freight forwarders, and automated export permit issuers.
- Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment - Central and regional offices.
Purpose
To notify dairy stakeholders that export certificates will not print if the gross weight is not supplied within the request for export (REX) application.
Key points
There is currently an issue for REXs to all countries where the certificate will not generate or print if the gross weight details have not been provided. REXs that use the Single Electronic Window (SEW) are not affected as gross weight details are a requirement. Until the issue is resolved, please supply gross weight details for every REX.
If you require a certificate before Monday 9 May 2022 for a REX that is already in the system and:
- the REX is not completed (at COMP), amend the REX to include the gross weight details before you progress or release to print.
- the REX is at COMP with a certificate error, submit a new REX with gross weight details as soon as possible to avoid date of departure issues.
If you do not require a certificate before Monday 9 May 2022, please defer printing the certificate until then. A fix is scheduled for Sunday 8 May 2022 from 10:00am to 12:00pm during which time the Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) system will be unavailable.
