Purpose
To notify exporters that electronic certification (eCert) for milk and milk products exported to the European Union (EU) will now commence from 2 May 2022.
Summary of key points
- Further to MAA2022-08, the intended commencement date of eCert for the export of milk and milk products to the EU has been delayed from 29 April 2022 to 2 May 2022.
- Exporters should continue to raise health certification for their consignments of milk and milk products to the EU via Next Export Documentation System (NEXDOC) in line with the current process.
- Paper based certification will continue to be available to exporters until the revised eCert commencement date (2 May 2022).
