Purpose
To notify stakeholders of the print functionality available in the Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) system.
Key points
Did you know that dairy certificates generated in NEXDOC are now printed on plain (white A4) paper and no longer need to be printed on blue security paper? This is reducing the administrative burden and printing costs for our exporters.
There is now greater printing flexibility with NEXDOC. Certificates can be printed in your own office by using the ‘MyPrint’ function or alternatively, certificates can be printed at a departmental regional office.
You can request the ‘MyPrint’ permission when you register as an exporter on the portal. Alternatively, you can confirm your ‘MyPrint’ functionality in the ‘Account’ tab on your NEXDOC Homepage.
You will need to choose your print indicator and print destination when lodging your REX. There are two print indicator options: ‘automatic’ and ‘hold’:
- Automatic means the certificate will automatically generate and be ready once the REX is approved.
- Hold means the certificate will remain at ‘draft’ status until you are ready to generate and print the certificate.
If your certificate status is ‘Printed’ but you haven’t received your certificate, please check your print indicator and print destination. Certificates may have printed at a departmental regional office, or the ‘Print’ button may not have been selected on the certificate overview screen.
For more information on printing a certificate in NEXDOC, you can visit the NEXDOC help pages.
