Purpose
To notify stakeholders of some of the functionality available in the Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) system.
Key points
NEXDOC connects with the Integrated Cargo System (ICS) to assist exporters in obtaining an Export Declaration Number (EDN) for their export. This is facilitated through the Single Electronic Window (SEW).
Previously, clients would have to request departmental assistance to transfer an EDN between exports.
NEXDOC allows clients to transfer EDNs between their Request for Exports (REXs). This function is available within the NEXDOC portal and third-party software systems that are connected to NEXDOC.
