Purpose
To notify that new health certification will be required for dairy products arriving in Fiji from October 2017 onwards.
Summary of key points
- The Department wrote to the Biosecurity Authority of Fiji (BAF) to submit for approval a new health certificate with new attestations for milk and milk products.
- The new attestations were submitted to BAF in order to meet Fiji’s new certification requirements
- BAF have approved the revised health certificate.
- Attestations on the new certificate are all certified based on the existing export dairy system and do not require any additional testing or other measures in establishments’ Approved Arrangements.
