The Supplementary Tasmanian Regional Forest Agreement was signed by the then Prime Minister, the Hon John Howard MP and the then Premier of Tasmania, the Hon Paul Lennon, MHA on 13 May 2005. The Supplementary Agreement now forms part of the Tasmanian RFA and is to be interpreted subject to the definitions and provisions specified in the RFA unless a contrary intention appears.
The Supplementary Agreement was developed to implement the commitments arising from the 2005 Tasmanian Community Forest Agreement, a joint commitment of the Australian and Tasmanian Governments to enhance protection of Tasmania’s forest environment and growth in the Tasmanian forest industry and forestry jobs.
The Supplementary Agreement and associated maps can be accessed in the following format. The nu MBers on the maps refer to the Reserve ID nu MBer and location, as set out in pages 18 and 19 of the Supplementary Agreement. Please note that Map 4 does not form part of the Supplementary Agreement but is provided to show the new formal and informal reserves from State-wide view.
