Animalplan - how research ideas become projects to strengthen production animal health and biosecurity systems
On 28 October 2024, we hosted a webinar providing a high-level overview of the process for research ideas to be realised into projects that align with Animalplan. This included how biosecurity work and projects that align with Animalplan are prioritised and progressed.

- Dr Annette Dougall, Senior Policy Officer from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF), on the progress of the National Animal Health Diagnostics Business Plan,
- Mrs Tanya Pittard, General Manager Policy and Industry Relations for Australian Pork Ltd, and Dr Rebecca Morrison, General Manager Research and Innovation for Australian Pork Ltd, on a Rural Research and Development Corporation’s (RDC) process for project prioritisation and investment.
