Report anything unusual in your backyard or on your farm. You can do this with one simple phone call.

  • Exotic Plant Pest Hotline: 1800 084 881 (plant pests and diseases, weeds and bees).
  • Emergency Animal Disease Hotline: 1800 675 888 (sick livestock, poultry and aquatic animals).

These phone numbers will direct you straight to your state or territory biosecurity authority.

Report any signs of pests or anything unexpected in your purchased or received items (such as furniture, food items, packaging etc) that may be imported.

You will not be prosecuted if you or someone you know has accidentally imported risk material.

Our specially trained officers investigate all reports relating to imported items. This includes items purchased in a store or arriving through airports, seaports or mail.
