Reports to Parliament

Every six months, the minister must table in Parliament a report from the department that includes livestock mortalities on every sea voyage. The report is compiled from information provided to the department by the ships' masters, as required by the Marine Orders Part 43 under subsection 425(1AA) of the Navigation Act 1912. In accordance with the requirements of the Export Control Act 2020, the report relates only to information provided to the Secretary or a delegate during the reporting period, whether or not the voyages occurred during the reporting period.

The table below is a summary of information in the reports to Parliament.
