Who does this notice affect?
All importers and customs brokers who lodged imported cargo documentation into the Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS) earlier today, Thursday 11 April 2019 and received the following error.
Some clients who lodged documentation in COLS today, may have received the error message “There was an error processing your request” on the Submission Confirmation screen.
This issue causing this error message to appear has now been resolved.
Clients with urgent perishable consignments that lodged documentation in COLS and received the error above are advised to forward their documents to the department via email at Import Assessment.
To ensure your documents are redirected to the correct processing team please ensure you use the subject header rules outlined in 20-2016 Notice to Industry.
All other COLS lodgements will be assessed as normal.
