Public consultation on the draft Imported Food Control Amendment Bill 20XX (the Bill) and Imported Food Control Amendment Regulations 20XX (the Regulations) is now open.
Members of the public, food importing companies and Australia’s trading partners have 45 days to provide comments on the draft Bill and Regulations. The consultation period will close on 4 May 2017.
The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources will consider all relevant material received during the consultation period. While there is no set format for comment, please include the following information:
- the title of this consultative document
- your name and title
- your organisation’s name if submitting on behalf of an organisation
- your contact details
