Offshore methyl bromide treatment providers list

Where import conditions allow, the department accepts methyl bromide (MB) fumigation treatments from offshore treatment providers.

In participating countries, the Australian Fumigation Accreditation Scheme (AFAS) has been established to manage offshore MB treatment provider compliance. In AFAS participating countries, MB fumigation certificates are only accepted from treatment providers listed as ‘acceptable’ on the offshore MB treatment providers list.

In non-AFAS countries, the department accepts MB treatments from all MB treatment providers, unless they have been identified as having previously conducted unsuccessful MB treatments and are listed as ‘unacceptable’ on the offshore MB treatment providers list.
