Appointments reporting

​​​​​​​​An Information Publication Scheme (IPS) has been established under the Freedom of Information Act 1982. It requires agencies to publish a broad range of information on their websites, including details of statutory appointments of the agency and information that the agency routinely provides to Parliament.

Senate Order—departmental and agency appointments and vacancies

The department lists all Agriculture portfolio government appointments to advisory boards, executive agencies, government business enterprises, statutory authorities, and other Commonwealth bodies, as required by the Senate Order of June 2008—Departmental and Agency Appointments.

The lists are tabled in the Senate three times a year, before additional estimates, budget estimates and supplementary budget estimates.
