We are looking for enthusiastic people who have a passion for exciting and challenging work, are results oriented and understand the importance of what the department does.
The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources reaches every corner of Australia. We are critical to implementing key government priorities, such as the Agricultural Competitiveness White Paper. We drive reforms to biosecurity and export regulations and set government policy on drought, fisheries and natural resource management. We manage our scarce water resources and maintain and secure new markets for Australia’s agricultural exports.
Central to the department’s story is a diverse, capable, engaged and flexible workforce. We are a motivated, professional and inclusive team with a wide variety of qualifications and backgrounds.
